LeRoy Medical Associates Plans Free Teddy Bear Clinic
Children can learn about being healthy and safe at a free Teddy Bear Clinic from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 25, at UR Medicine Primary Care LeRoy Medical Associates, 127 West Main Street, LeRoy.
All teddy bears must be accompanied by kids and each child and bear will meet with a doctor to have their furry friend’s height, weight and vital signs taken. It’s a fun opportunity for children to interact with doctors and office staff while learning more about the importance of good health.
Representatives from the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office will also be there for parents who wish to have their child’s photograph and fingerprints taken.
The event is open to the public and will include refreshments and giveaways. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
