New entrance, new headwalls, and more for new hospital
Until recently, it may have looked like the exterior construction of the new Golisano Children's Hospital was complete, but the creation of the building's entrance illustrates that the site is still very much a construction zone.
The new entrance's loop will allow for a flow of patients and visitors when the hospital opens in late summer of 2015.
Meanwhile, on the inside of the hospital, the headwalls of the private patient rooms on the seventh floor are almost complete. The footwalls of the rooms are also taking shape with a counter, sink, and lockable areas for personal storage. They are really starting to look more and more like their renderings!
Take an inside look at some of the most recent changes and the great view from the Playdeck with these pictures!
