Finding your way
The interior of the new Golisano Children's Hospital will showcase the many beautiful landscapes of upstate New York. Each floor will have a different theme and corresponding icon, starting with lakes and moving up to meadows and parks and ending with Rochester's beautiful cityscapes. The themes and their icons will help patients and visitors identify where they are in the building.
The icons are also incorporated into the hospital's advanced security system. All visitors will receive a badge with an icon indicating which floor their loved one is on (i.e. meadow, park, city).
