Cityscapes on the 8th floor

The new Golisano Children's Hospital features a different New York state landscape on each floor. Many of our patients spend a lot of time in the hospital, and although we'll be adding more outdoor and indoor spaces, we know nothing replaces the feeling of home, whether you're from Rochester or the Southern Tier or the Adirondacks. So, we're bringing a little bit of those places into our hospital. This should also help families find their way around the new hospital, since it's easier to remember that your child is on the City floor than that you're on the 8th floor -- especially when you also have to remember what floor you parked on in the ramp garage!

The 7th floor, which we featured last week, emulates the states beautiful parks. The 8th floor pays homage to our great cities, including our own! Check out the great details in the doors and the playful orange accents in the photo gallery below.
