Dr. Aaron Sabbota joins Bariatric Surgery Team at Highland Hospital

Highland Hospital welcomes Aaron Sabbota, M.D., Ph.D., as Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, who will focus on Bariatric and Gastrointestinal surgeries and will also be performing general surgery.
 
Sabbota recently finished a fellowship in Bariatric Surgery at Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery Associates Medical Group at the Fresno Heart and Surgical Hospital in Fresno, California. Prior to his fellowship, he completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center in 2018. Sabbota also earned a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology as well as his doctor of medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine.
